Second Tasmanian Seminar
Nov 14th, 2014
Recently we held the second seminar for establishing yogis in Tasmania’s beautiful Golden Valley, on the side of Quamby Bluff. The vibrations of the Mother Earth and the hills were there to greet us, and once we had put up Shri Mataji’s beautiful photo, framed in a carved Indonesian frame, with a photo especially made to fit , the vibrations were as cool as cool in anticipation of the weekend to come.
One of the first to arrive was a car from Devonport with four ladies. Two of them came straight in and when they saw the altar, beams of joy radiated from them. One automatically placed her hands together and bowed to the photo. “She is so beautiful,†she said. “I’ve never done that before. I just felt that I had to.†What a start to a beautiful weekend!
There were fourteen of us altogether. They came laden with food – the Tasmanians are very generous people. Eight of them had been to the first seminar and were keen to renew friendships. All of them were always sitting ready for the eight different sessions that were held, and really enjoyed the strength of the vibrations.
We had arranged to do a Power Point presentation on the Mooladhara Chakra – yes, very techno! We had all the right cords and had practised beforehand, but could we get it to work? No! So we ad libbed, and yes, it was the most powerful session. They loved the knowledge that we have been given, and the meditation afterwards was beautiful.
Everyone enjoyed the bhajans and the mantras were sung with great sweetness. Everyone left saying how joyful they felt and asking when the next seminar would be, so we arranged it there and then: 24, 25 and 26 October 2009.
